I am sure you saw in the picture with the motor out of the housing the vacuum cleaner hose I first used for this project only held up for a couple of years then began to fall apart. I have tried to get defroster hose or anything that was 1 1/2 inches in dia. No go I was always told. Today I ask for the hose that goes between the exhaust manifold and the air filter horn---HEY that comes in 1 1/2 inch size. Let me say I DO NOT RECOMEND this size. It needs to be larger. The vacuum on that hose is about the same as it was on my vacuum cleaner. I will replace it with something larger some day.
