Made an L-bracket out of sheet metal from a 2" flat curtain rod. Cut one side of it to fit into the bottom-mounting slot.
Painted it and the module the same color as the dash.
Removed the conduit for the wires. Used clear shipping tape to mount the wires spread then out flat.
Slid the wires and wide side of the mounting bracket into the slot between the dash doughnut and front dash wire cover panel.
Mounted the module to the other side of the bracket and plugged in the wiring harness.
