Old Suburban Furnace had an exchanger that was leaking Cabon Monoxide. (Made the sensor scream) (Darn-it, I had just spent a lot of time servicing and cleaning it of mud daubers, dirty burners and jets and lubing the fan and motor bearings, and removing rust scale from the bottom of the exchanger - should have known!!!) An exact replacement did not seem to be easily available. The angled back that fits up against the body was flat for regular RVs. The original used a lower plenum and take offs going to the furnace outlets in the GMC
The problem with a flat furnace up against the curved wall is the exhaust and intake pipes. The wall is also used to seal the cold air return for the furnace. The new furnace also does not have the bottom plenum. I ordered the bottom plenum adaptor option but was disappointed because it was expensive. I could have made it myself easily had I know what it looked like.
