House 12-volt wiring panel, 2008

This shows the current version of my 12-volt wiring center for the house. I have updated the circuit breaker to a marine-grade switchable breaker, and have relocated the grounding bus to the one provided on the fuse block. The fuse block is a marine-grade fuse panel. The combiner connects the house system to the generator starting battery, for those whose generator starting batteries are still separate. This is MUCH better than using the battery charger on the generator. The converter is an older Intellipower model with the separate battery-charge wizard for providing multi-stage charging. Newer models have that capability built in. But it is a must.
