Here\'s the jet that the needle sticks down into. As you drive into higher altitudes, atmospheric pressure on the bellows decreases, allowing the bellow to expand, pushing the needle down into the jet...leaning out the mixture. Go down in altitude, atmospheric pressure increases compressing the bellows and drawing the needle out of the jet richening out the mixture..
