In this more current picture, I have added a main chassis cut-off switch. This allows me to cut off all power to the chassis circuits from outside the coach, and is useful in case of a fire that has caused the fuel pump to short in the energized state (as happened to Ken Burton). The combiner is wired to the battery side of this switch, so that even if I cut off the chassis circuits from the battery, the battery can still be charged and maintained by the house converter. As with all early coaches whose house batteries are up front, there is only one boost solenoid on this coach, and I'm using a 200-amp contactor that I bought at surplus. The combiner is wired to the engine and house positive battery connections, plus a ground.
