When you get to a safe place (in my case home) simply reverse the steps to replace the oil cooler adaptor...but, remember that gasket on the top of the adapter? Replace it...look at the one I found on my rig. How it held oil pressure is something I don\'t understand. Just get a new oil filter and pry the gasket from it to use as a replacement. It is an inexpensive \"waste\" of a filter. Of course you will also need to have the new hose or hoses made up. Most any parts place will tell you where to have that done locally. If you have the time, and want to spend the money, JR Slatten has some wonderful stainless steel lines for sale. Inexpensive, compared to the cost of a lost engine due to oil line failure.
