The pedestals to support the reference pointers are 5/16"-24 all-thread rod. The pointers are just cut and sharpened 1/4"-20 machine screws. The angle connecting the pointers to the pedestals is 1"x1" aluminum. The pointers are set at 13-3/4" from the ground for 225-75 R 16 tires. The specified toe-in is based on measuring between the rear and extreme forward limits of the tires' treads.
