Threaded Fitting Filter

This 3 port Filter was used on Chev 427s Camaro 427 and Camaro COPO Models in the 1960s.   It would be the best bypass fuel filter to use because it has threaded fittings.  They were mounted with a bracket on the water pump with metal fuel lines.  This si an excellent product to use with electric fuel pumps  which pressureize the entire fuel system.  However: While they can be purchased, they are expensive and not available in many places.  If you used a filter in the feed lines from the fuel tanks, this should have a long life. (Using a 3 port fuel pump is still a more price effective option)

It seems silly to me that the GMC Motorhome engineers did not put 3 port fuel pumps or 3 port fuel filters in the coaches. (Maybe they did not get the memo) GM vehicles in the 60s, 70s, and 80 mostly had a Hot fuel and fuel vapor return system. Why they thought the coach did not need one is a real mystery
