Replace the original with a heavy duty flasher. Look for one that says or indicates it is electronic/transistorized and does 4 or more lamps. Make sure it is a 2 wire unit and is approximately the same diameter as the original. You want it to go back into the clip with out breaking the clip. I purchased this one at a good auto supply store. You will now have bright flashing turn signals.
