Dissected Alternator Protection Cable

This is the type of commonly available Alternator Protection cable available by many of the GMC Suppliers. Originally one of the GMCers made these and basically gave them away for the cost of parts and shipping.   I believe he still does.  It uses a SI Alternator connector extension cable with an installed Diode and protective split conduit harness. This type of protection cable can also be purchased from other Alternator supply houses and parts suppliers under the name of "Anti-Feedback Cable" Alternator protection Cable", "APC" or "Safety Harness" While this solution iis a simple "Plug and Play"  I believe the real problem with this solution is that it introduces more "slip on" connections that are not weather proof and inviting problems in the future..
