You can see the nice bronze valve guides on the exhaust valves. They had umbrella valve seals on them. On #5 we had to drive the valve out with a hammer. I don\'t think it is a bent valve. The valve will go in from the top side just fine---it wont go down the last 1/4 inch. It is all you can do to force it from the cylinder side.
