There is barely a ridge at the top of the cylinder on all 8. To all of you who wanted me to drop it in and run---there is one cylinder that was burning a lot of oil---even to the point of having an anti-fouling plug in it. Looks like I made the right call. She is at the machine shop tonight. Tomorrow we will find out the rest of the story.
