Batteries Combined. No "Battery Boost" switch. Here's the general idea. 2 "AGM" 4-D batteries under the bed in the rear. 1 AGM starter battery. When either the battery charger or the alternator is operating, the voltage will raise enogh to cause the BlueSea "Combiner/Automatic Charge Relay" to link the starter and house batteries, so that all are charged as if they were one bank. If neither the alternator nor the battery charger are operating, I can manually "link" the house and starter batteries with the manual BlueSea "on-off" switch. With this set-up, all batteries are kept up to full voltage whenever the battery charger or the alternator are operating. Obviously, the battery charger can be run off of shore power or generator power.
