Resister wire found and seperated from main dash wiring.Spiral covering added and this res wire is away from other wires to prevent damage.Others owners have reported the wire to get red hot and cause much dash wiring damage.30 years and this has not been a problem on this GMC.Two hours of this day spent on res wire of day 4.
