I had one latch  missing, and one about to fall off. The photo\'s show one way to remove the broke nylon retainer  from the latch.. Next is a new nylon 1/4 -20  screw that will replace the nylon latch retainer. Then the  3M tape to hold the latch to the glass. Photo of tape installed on to the latch. 1/4-20 nylon screw, shortened, and a lead hole drilled in the center for a  #  4 flat head  SS screw. Last two are of the latch installed. You must use  the double stick rubber tape.  To get the screws in. And  not having the tape  sticking to the screw.  Put a very small amount of vaseline on the screws. Or any lubricant.
