Caulk Remover applied

Test of 3M/Red Devil Caulk Remover. The instructions say to put on a 1/8" bead of caulk remover on the caulk and let it sit for 2-3 hours. Acrylic caulks may take 7 hours. I only tried it on RTV and a very small amount of two week old 3M 5200. A DIY forum indicated that applying the remover, covering with plastic wrap and waiting 8 hours gave better results. Here I have applied the remover to RTV on the gutter upper joint and part of the rear cap seam. I covered up part of the application with plastic wrap.
