We sprayed half of the panel and half of the vinyl and then let it sit for 5 minutes to allow the solvent in the adhesive to flash off before carefully smoothing the vinyl into place. We found that filling the large openings with the panel removed yields better results with no wrinkles. The vinyl we used was from JoAnn Fabrics and was relatively inexpensive. My upholstery jus calls it ?junk vinyl? but it works well as a headliner material.
