I replaced the plywood bottoms of my dinette seats with pre-cut couch springs available at the local "Sales" place which is a professional upholstery supply shop. Massive improvement.


Though this is in my travel trailer, This is relevent to the seats in 73-74 coaches with similar seating.


It isn't Flexsteel, but a cheap alternative that retains the stock look.


Here I cut "V" notches in the back of the seatbacks to make them more pliable.
