Here is #8 cylinder all cleaned up. Even though #6 was the one that died from the manifold gasket leak #8 had a lot more crud in it. It had been sucking a small amount of valley air for some time. I have found the down side to synthetic oil. If you have a cylinder sucking up any you will have a very hard shiney crud buildup that is very hard to remove. We use a chisel and die grinder to get this piston clean. If the gaskets get here we will begin going back together in the morning.
