This harness is the the leg that goes to to the engine minus tape and split loom. (I had the engine out, so this was a perfect time for me to upgrade a number of electrical issues. Removing the entire harness was easier for me to add a large number of wires, and re-route the bundle to clean up the engine look. Going this far is not really required if you are only working in the HEI Wireing. It is also not really required to actually remove the resistor wire in the harness.
