Rick Williams writes \"I removed the trim by starting on the front end. By lifting up the bottom edge and also looking down the length from the front, I could see the first clip. They are snapped into a groove in the track. The plastic trim has two \"teeth\" that snap into the clip. The \"teeth run the entire length of the trim. There are clips about every foot. I inserted a flat blade screwdriver next to the clip and then turned it 90 degrees. The trim pops out if all goes well. It takes some time to get the hang of it but I was able to remove it with no damage to the front side. Slight damage to the back side put that does not matter. Just keep working your way down the trim until all clips have been released. The clips will stay in the groove of the track. They do not come out with the trim. Remove each clip from the track with a small pair of needle nose pliers. When reinstalling the trim, place the clips on the trim and then snap back into the groove. I hope this helps.
