This fuel pump has a number of fuel socks that will fit. But most of them are designed for the pump to be suspended vertically in the fuel tank. The best one I could find for a horizontal mount pump was the Airtex FS100 Fuel Pump Strainer (used on the Dodge Caravan/Plymouth Voyager 84-87 2.6L etc.). The fit seems tight but it is a press fit. Just be sure it is going on straight and press till it fits. Note that a couple of months after I researched and purchased these fuel pumps and fuel socks I see that Jim K. (Applied GMC) is now selling a kit. From looking at the pics on his website he may have found a better (more surface area) fuel sock. I know it would have saved me a lot of time if he had been a couple months faster at adding the EFI kit to his lineup.
