View of the fuel pump/sender flange. Looking through the hole in the floor down to the top of the tank. The fuel pumps can be replaced without dropping the tanks via this access hole in the floor. The hole in the carpet is actually an 'X' cut into the carpet and pad. Each tab is folded under to give me access to the floor. So I can unfold the carpet and cover up the hole. But the plan is to replace the carpet soon. I planning on doing the carpet in segments that are velcroed to the floor. That will make it easier to remove the carpet as needed. As much for ease of cleaning as for access to the fuel pumps and connections.
