We then test fitted each valence piece actually drilling the holes for the mounting screws. (No photo of this) Then we removed the valences and covered each valence piece with upholstery vinyl before reattaching. Note that the valence had to be trimmed to clear the arm of the overhead bunk ? an unexpected surprise.
