Fred\'s final drive makes a lot of noise. We dropped the pan to see what we could see. OMG what a mess. Somebody had filled it with TAR not oil. I could not believe how thick it was---no sawdust though. The bottom of the pan is to the left of the pic. You can see the gold color there---thats the bronze from the bushings. There was a whole lot of metal in the oil---I cant believe I even got the sparkles in the pic.
