We put in the 10 ohm resistor---turned on the key but did not start the engine. In a few seconds the resistor was so hot you could not touch it. This is a pic of the 10 ohm resistor after we cut it out and installed the 100 ohm resistor---it only gets warm. Yes I am a belt and suspenders kind of guy---I left the APC unit in place---maybe we will learn something new from this. BTW my hot wire had never been hot. Oh well what a wonderful day!
