All colors but Red light are filtered out by the GMC tail light lens. Red goes through the lens. This is important when choosing LED Colors. LEDs have a very narrow band of color that they produce. “White” LEDs are mostly blue in a way that they fool the eye. They have almost no Red. Almost all colors are filtered out by the tail light lens. The light energy is significantly diminished . Therefore it is important to use RED LEDs.
