This is a cross-section view. It is 5/16\" thick. Makes a nice ceiling and adds \"R\" value at the same time.
Duro Therm Lite makes good headliner / ceiling material.
A similar material is used by the sign industry for making those political and garage sale yard signs. It's about $20 a sheet from your local sign shop and comes in 4' by 8' sheets.
