I HATE phillips screws. I used #10 x 1/2 hex head metal screws. drilled out the holes in the frame with a 5/32 drill. Much more positive grip with the screwdriver. Remember to put sealer on the bottom screws as they enter the drain area for the window and are the cause of leaks if not sealed well.
