The enclosure is plywood with a layer of 2lb. per sq. ft lead sheet, a layer of rigid fiberglass duct board, a layer of acoustic ceiling tile, a layer of foil covered felt. The sound attenuation is pretty good. A hatch cut in the top of the rear bunk allows very good access to the top of the gen or if I ever need to pull it.
