Removing the bolts uses a 12 mm wrench and socket.

There are three nuts holding the base to the seat on each side. They are 12 mm. The front two on each side are fairly easily removed with a 12 mm box or box ratchet wrench. The rear most ones require a 12 mm socket and are a pain to remove.
