Installing the tub and attaching it to the old struts required twisting it back into shape. That\'s why you see a long pipe clamp in the picture. Once in place, I fastened it to the struts and old floor joists by splicing with short pieces of aluminum angle. These connections are not really structural. Only the bar between the two bolts on the back edge of the subframe holds anything up.
