Before you lay your panels on the form for reshaping it is best to apply a coat of wall paper primer. The reason being that you are not going to be able to remove all of the sticky adhesive. If you lay your panel on the form crap and small pieces dirt will stick to the surface of your panel. So paint it 1st and also lay a piece of plastic sheet over your form. A clean working surface is important. This wall primer comes in white. You need to add a dye to it. I had them add 4 ounces of black. This gives the primer a gray color. The reason is that you want to have the illusion of foam under the snake bite. If you use white it will not look right. the gray color really does give close to the original appearance once installed.
