Service port
Took off shroud and found an existing service port. Attached gages and pump and vacummd system, broke the vac with R22a and vac'd again.
Charged about 12 - 14 oz, pressure reads 29 - 30 lbs on the R22 gage.
Current draw is only 13 to 13.5 Amps and a start draw of 15A.
Really cools now, can't compare as the unit never worked properly during my ownership since 2004.
