I intially thought that the impression of the air cleaner on the inside of the hatch cover was evidence of sagging but I\'m wrong. Upon close inspection it appears that GM has it setup that way. They knew that the air cleaner would extend above the bottom of the floor and at an angle. Only the rear portion of the air cleaner would extend up. The engine sits at an angle to the floor. Notice how the cut out for the air cleaner is only for the back half of the air cleaner.
