I was, originally, going to machine this out of a block of steel - But came up with the solution to start with a piece of (1.5” square steel tubing – 3/32 wall thickness) - The small cardboard “tab” is a cutout copy of the steering damper frame bracket I made off a GMC front clip up at Jim Kanomata’s/Applied GMC - My measurements were slightly different from the ones Bob provided, so I went with mine as they were closer to the 1.5” tubing I used.
