This was the other place I thought there would be a problem. The awning just clears the sewer vent when you are putting the case onto the mounting plate. Had to mount the plate 1/4 inch above the drip rail.
This is not a Carefree of Colorado awning it is an Omnistor that was part of a group buy, it came from Belguim and was sent to Carefree to have the material installed.
