KISS Drawer retaining tool in it's stored position

After I rebuilt the galley cabinets using ball bearing slides for the drawers I ran into an unexpected problem. The drawers kept coming open on every left turn. I researched all the ways to secure them and all of the clips, clamps, magnets, marine latches, etc had one or more downsides. And they all messed up the look of the cabinets. Then one day I joked around with my wife about nailing the drawers closed, and then it came to me. next pic please
