The first thing we did was to add a converter to the Sidekick. This changes the wiring from the old GMC so that it will work with the newer wiring of the Sidekick. I have read alot on how this should be done. All I can say is that this has worked for me for the last three years. My local RV shop recomended we do it this way---I have worked with them for 25 years they have not let me down yet. The system uses the bulbs that are there.
