This is what I came up with. It is a NAPA P/N 66o-1140. Cost $25. I spent about an hour going through their catalog and decided on this one. It is small and has the cable mount (top right) mounted right on it. The silver thing is just one of thoes push on nuts I got at True Value Hardware. It\'s made to take a heater control cable that has the little coil at the end. This valve seals very well. I think it might work to control water to the water heater or any other aux heater you might want to add.
