New WeatherPack connector will increase the reliability of the furnace. OEM connector suffers from insufficient contact area and resultant overheating of the terminals producing intermittent contact. A six-wire model will accept the five wires from the OEM connector. Purchase the proper wire end terminals, rubber wire seals and two blockoff plugs. Total cost is under $20 and the parts should be available at any good automotive electrical supplier
