Schematic showing classical combiner installation on early GMC, 2008 versio
The combiner is installed across the terminals of the boost solenoid. This schematic is similar (and may be the same) as the earlier schematic in this gallery. If the diode isolator is no good and you don't want to have to replace it (and you don't need an engine-running-only 12v. source), this diagram is for you.
