Use a brass 10-32 machine screw to pass the electrical connection through the washers. Use three nuts. The first nut is used to compress the washers. Do not over-tighten this first nut because it may split or crack one of the washers. The second nut is used as a lock washer to keep the first nut in place. The third nut is used to compress the ring terminal and the lock washer that connects the pump to the pump relay. I could not find brass lock-washers so I used stainless. I applied silicone dielectric grease liberally (on the outside only) to help prevent corrosion. Note that silicone can damage oxygen sensors so do not use any on anything inside the tank.
