The fuel pump comes with short wire leads crimped into the connector. These are not long enough to reach the mounting flange. So I had to add additional wire to each lead. I soldered the splice and the connections to the ring terminals. I used self-sealing heat shrink tubing (the kind that has hot-glue inside, see digikey.com) to seal the connections. The gray wire is the power connection and the black wire is the ground connection.
