You have to understand---Fred is an old Navy elctronics guy. With all of the talk yesterday about the \"wire\" He spent the night studing the drawings. He decided that the nicrome wire circuit is nothing more than a redundant circuit. The power to the light bulb should be enough to excite the alternator. You only need the other circuit is the GEN bulb was burned out. This morning Jim and Fred removed the wire and put nothing back in its place. If you look real close at the lower right hand corner of the radio opening you can see the silver lug where the nicrome wire crimps on.
