The same template SHOULD work for both sides -- it does.
Using the template to cut the right dash cover. The trim from the left cover is shown. Notice that the diamond pattern will be down. I'm using 15g diamond plate because it's stiffer than equivalent gauge un-patterned material. The Harbor Freight shear shown does a great job even on this thick material -- which is quite soft.
