Two fitted plates make up the top of the forward dash. The diamonds are down. I use diamond plate because its stiffer than equivalent thickness plain aluminum. Notice the round and rectangular holes to the right of the MaxAir outlet -- they're for the Zay Brand air recirculation mod. I've made them into one big rectanguar hole since this photo.
