I mean we filled them so there was no place for dirt to hide. We then heated them up with a heat gun. We made the stuff very soft. We then smashed them into place and wiped off the excess. Will this work---I dont know. I do know that I am not going to replace my moulding that has lasted very well for 29 years with some plastic crap that the chrome crazes in two or three years. Just the way I did it.
