The center of the underskirt is held in place by a metal electrical conduit pole, which slides through a loop in the center of the underskirt. At the ends of the electrical conduit, I added rubber chair feet, drilled a hole through the feet and the conduit, and attached another set of carrabiners to hold the underskirt up along the sides. (see photo 1) Without this rod, the underskirt would sag and drag along the road when turning a corner.
